Differences in TDP over Madiga issue

Guntur: Differences among ruling TDP leaders in Guntur district have come to the fore in Guntur district on the issue of SC categorisation. Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao's comments on the issue have angered TDP official spokesperson and former minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad.

Varaprasad said that the Pulla Rao has no knowledge of the SC categorisation issue and asked him to desist from speaking on such sensitive issues. He asked the minister not to complicate the matter.

The TDP leader reiterated that Manda Krishna was their leader and that he would participate in the meeting of the Madiga community leaders on Sunday to discuss future course of action on the SC categorisation issue.
