Did This NGO Leader Furnish Fake Documents?

Vijayawada: AP NGOs Association leader Ashok Babu reportedly committed a big offence by submitting forged and fake documents to get a promotion in an illegal manner. The officials of the commercial Tax department, who conducted a probe and verified the degree - BCom - certificate submitted by the employees’ union leader, found that it was a fake certificate.

The investigation has revealed that Ashok Babu had submitted a fake degree certificate in a bid to get promotion and join the Commissionerate. He is actually an intermediate pass and not a graduate.

After coming to know that the top officials had verified the certificate and found it to be fake, Ashok Babu immediately submitted another application requesting to withdraw the application he had submitted seeking promotion. He tried to argue that the staff members had committed a gaffe. However, no action was initiated against Ashok Babu given his proximity with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
