Dharamana's first outing after being given a clean chit

Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao on Wednesday met Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy at Secretariat. Talking to media after meeting the CM, he said the 'Indiramma Bata Pragramme' will be conducted in Visakhapatnam starting from December 17.

He said he would be participating in the programme as MLA. Dharmana meeting gains significance following health minister DL Ravindra Reddy's objection to Dharmana being given a clean chit by the government.

DL on Tuesday, had come down heavily on the government for not allowing the prosecution of Dharmana Prasada Rao by the CBI.

It may be recalled that Kiran Kumar Reddy's decision to reject CBI plea to question Dharama was unanimously approved by majority of the members in the AP Assembly except a few leaders including DL Ravindra who said government was being partial towards Dharmana while it had conveniently meted out ill-treatment to Mopidevi in the same case.
