Dhanush’s Vada Chennai First Look

Tamil actor Dhanush's upcoming flick Vada Chennai first look poster was unveiled on Thursday. The actor took to Twitter to release the poster. "#vadachennai first look !! #அன்பு it’s not just his name," he tweeted.

The poster showed the actor getting down from a police van with a big grin on his face. Minutes after the first look, the actor released the second look of the movie, which showed the actor holding a knife in his mouth and climbing up on to a ship using a rope.

Dhanush's Vada Chennai had been in a shooting schedule for more than three years and the movie still hasn't not got any official release date. The film was picturised on the life of people living in North Chennai for over 35 years and the actor will be seen playing a role of Anbu, who is a National level Carrom player. Actresses Samuthirakani, Aishwarya Rajesh and Andrea Jeremiah are playing as female leads.
The film is directed by Vetrimaaran and the music was composed by Sathosh Narayanan. Actors like Allirajah Subaskaran, Dayanidhi Azhagiri will play supporting roles in the movie.
Vada Chennai is the director's third movie with Dhanush after Polladhavan in 2007 and Aadukalam in 2011.
