DGP-led Police Teams To Raid Resort In Search Of MLAs

Chennai: Police teams led by State DGP TK Rajendran are expected to raid the Golden Bay resort in Kancheepuram district on Friday amid allegations that the MLAs were detained illegally.

The MLAs were hurriedly shifted in three buses to the resort located close to Mahabalipuram after their meeting with Sasikala in Chennai on Thursday. However, "those" who detained the MLAs may soon shift them out of the resort as the news of the police raid has already gone viral. Sources say that the Sasikala camp may divide the MLAs into smaller groups and relocate them to different places. It is to be seen if any MLAs will remain at the Golden Bay resort when the police arrive. If they do, what details will they reveal to the police is another topic in the ongoing saga for chief ministership.
