DGP appeals for peaceful march
Andhra Pradesh DGP V Dinesh Reddy has appealed to the organisers of 'Telangana March' to abide by the conditions imposed by the Hyderabad Police with regard to timing and the venue of the march.
The police have allowed the march to be held between 3 pm and 7 pm today at Sanjeevaiah Park on Necklace Road and warned of strict action if the activists 'take law into their hands'.
Any iota of violence leading to the destruction of the properties or endangering lives of the individuals will be viewed very seriously and the Police would take stringent penal sections and explore all the options before them to come heavily on the violators and law-breakers, the DGP warned.
