Devineni Nehru Cremated With State Honor At Gunadala 

Vijayawada: The mortal remains of former minister and senior TDP leader Devineni Nehru (Rajasekhar) were put to rest at his own farmland in Gunadala near here on Tuesday.

Nehru died of heart attack after a prolonged kidney failure while undergoing treatment in Hyderabad on Monday.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Minister Devineni Uma, Vijayawada MLA Bonda Uma Maheshwar Rao and several party leaders attended the funeral.

The funeral was performed with state honor and the pyre was lit by his son Avinash. Hundreds of Devineni's followers, party cadres and leaders and officials attended the ceremony.
