Destruction of Tamil Nadu started with DMK: Ramdoss - Sakshi Post

In a scathing attack on the DMK over issues ranging from corruption to inter-state matters, PMK today asked if the former had any moral right to question the ruling AIADMK on these matters, as it charged both the Dravidian parties of leaving the state in a mess.

Responding to a letter written by DMK Treasurer and party chief M Karunanidhi's political heir apparent M K Stalin to Chief Minister O Panneerselvam about the state of affairs in Tamil Nadu, PMK Youth Wing Leader and party Chief Ministerial candidate Anbumani Ramadoss alleged that DMK started corruption and irregularities and AIADMK has taken it across in a grand manner. In an 'open letter' to Stalin similar to the one he had written to Panneerselvam, Ramadoss said the DMK scion must not think that people would have forgotten the administrative irregularities and corruption just because the party had been on a 46-month exile, i.e. being in the opposition. It is a fact that Tamil Nadu's destruction history cannot be written without DMK, he said. Interestingly, Ramadoss' letter comes seven months after Karunanidhi and Stalin attended a wedding in Ramadoss' family, setting off speculations of a political realignment. According to Ramadoss, the follies committed by the DMK included not implementing prohibition and doing nothing to augment the electricity supply, an issue that has been impacting Tamil Nadu for the past few years. He faulted ruling AIADMK with also failing in these areas.
