Desertions from TDP: Naidu goes into huddle

In wake of four TDP leaders resignation, AP CM and TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu went into a huddle with Telangana TDP leaders at the Secretariat.

The TDP suffered a jolt when its prominent leaders like Talasani Srinivas Yadav (Sanatnagar), Teegala Krishna Reddy (Maheshwaram), Prakash Goud (Rajendra Nagar) and Dharma Reddy (Parkal) quit the party to join the TRS.

Chandrababu has called for emergency meeting with his close aides and other senior leader and held talks with them to review the situation arising out of resignations.
MLAs Maganti Gopinath, Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Arikapudi Gandhi and TDP Telangana committee chairman L. Ramana attended at the meeting.
Naidu is expected to convene the meeting again in the evening.
