Denmark Open: Telugu Shuttler Srikanth Wins His Third Super Series Title
Hyderabad: Srikanth Kidambi clinched the Denmark Open Super Series title on Sunday. He sealed the title with a dominating straight-game victory over Korean veteran Lee Hyun II in a lopsided final of the USD 750,000 Denmark Open in Odense. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Srkinath on his twitter handle saying that he made Indians proud.
He played with an opponent who was 12 years senior to him and sealed his dominance with a 21-10 21-5 win over 37-year-old Lee in a match that lasted just 25 minutes here. Rejoicing over the victory, the 24-year-old says, "I'm very happy and I thank everyone for supporting me so much here. It has been a fantastic week for me. I am looking forward to coming back here and defend the title."

Coach Pullela Gopichand says, that thought the match appeared easy it wasn't an easy win calling Srikanth's opponent strong . "At the end of first round I asked him to keep his focus as his opponent can swing back."
Srikanth on Tuesday will head to Paris to for the French Open Super Series.
