Denied Motorbike, Class 9 Boy Commits Suicide

Kolkata: A Class IX student, whose body was found hanging in his room, apparently committed suicide after his father refused to buy him a motorbike, family sources said on Saturday.
The victim, Sonu Haldar, a resident of Radhagovindapally in South 24 Parganas district's Sonarpur, was alone in his house on Friday, the sources said. Haldar had been pestering his father for some time to buy him a motorbike. But the father did not agree. Police, however, said they were looking at all angles.
