Delhi Tourist Raped In Hyderabad, 4 Held

Hyderabad: In yet another heinous act, a Delhi woman, who came on a tour of the city, was sexually assaulted by four persons on Wednesday. Based on the victim’s complaint, the Banjara Hills police arrested four persons.

The victim and her friends stayed at OYO room in Banjara Hills from Sunday. She said the accused followed her and purposely booked a room in the same hotel.

In her complaint, she said that four youths troubled her in the lift of the hotel on Tuesday, but she managed to escape from their clutches.

The next day, one of the youths came to her room in the guise of a room service boy. He then gagged her and took her to his room where he sexually assaulted her.

The police have checked the CCTV footage of the hotel and a hostel staffer was detained for questioning. Further details are awaited.
