Dejected Over Not Getting Married, 28-Year-Old Man Ends Life 

Gooty: Frustrated by the delay in getting married, a 28-year-old man committed suicide in Gooty in Anantapur district on Wednesday. The victim identified as Irfan Khan, a resident of Vankagadda colony, was reportedly dejected for not finding a prospective bride as he was getting older.

Recently, marriage for his younger brother was also got settled. Meanwhile, Irfan had fallen sick and gradually slipped into depression over the matter.

On Wednesday, Irfan found no family members present at home and hanged himself to a ceiling fan around 9pm. The body was shifted to government hospital for a postmortem. A case under mysterious death was registered and investigation is on, said Sub-inspector Chandbasha.
