Declare drought-hit mandals immediately: Seshu Babu

YSR Congress Party MLC Meka Seshu Babu demanded that the government should identify the drought-hit mandals in the state and declare them immediately..  There was a short-term debate on the drought hit areas in the Council today. While participating in it, he said that we should draw inspiration from Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy, in battling drought.
He recalled the fact that YSR had taken the village as a unit and had taken drought prevention measures accordingly. The credit goes to YSR for the introduction of crop insurance, he added.
