Decision on 'T' will satisfy majority: Chiranjeevi

For the first time after the all-party meeting that was held last Friday, Union Minister for Tourism K. Chiranjeevi responded on the Telangana statehood issue.  He said that decision would be satisfactory to the majority of people.

Addressing a gathering at the Congress Party meeting at Huzoornagar in Nalgonda District, the actor-turned-politician said that he merged his Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress for achieving social justice.

He ridiculed TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu's promises to the farmers saying that the party which was never bothered about the farmers' problems, is promising 'the sky' to them now.

Meanwhile, Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy demanded an early decision on the contentious issue.

The gathering was also addressed by Union Ministers Sarve Satyanarayana and Balaram Naik and minister Uttam Kumar Reddy in the afternoon.
