Death toll up as doc strike enters Day 3

The junior doctor’s strike has entered the third day today. With neither the government nor the junior doctors are ready to bow down, the death rates are increasing in Vijayawada.

16 people have died including five children. Who should be held responsible for this now, the doctor or the government?

The junior doctors cleared the allegations on them that they are unwilling to work in remote areas, saying that they have never denied to work in remote areas. Talking about the increasing death rates, they say that lack if basic amenities in hospital are responsible for this day.

The doctors’ themselves are helpless as the government doesn’t see the need to equip the hospital with facilities like ventilators and medicines to treat their patients.
