DCP among the first to rush to KBR Park

Hyderabad: West Zone DCP Venkateshwarulu was among the first to reach the KBR Park in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills, when the shootout was reported.

He rushed to the spot immediately and began gathering information about the incident. He spoke to victim Nityananda Reddy, who was attacked by unidentified gunman.
Nityananda explained the turn of events to the DCP. When DCP asked Nityananda Reddy as to whether he suspected anyone, Reddy said "I don't suspect anyone, I do not have any rivalry with anyone."
Later, commission of police Mahender Reddy rushed to the spot. Dogs team and Clues team were also rushed into the spot. They collected evidences from the scene of the offense.
Preliminary investigations concluded that this could be a case of kidnap for ransom.
