Dasari to meet Mudragada on Monday

Hyderabad: Director and former Central Minister Dasari Narayana Rao has decided to meet Mudragagda Padmanabham, who has been on indefinite fast since two days, on Monday amid the tension atmosphere as police imposed strict restrictions.

The legendary film director had already voiced solidarity with Mudragada's fast demanding AP government to include their Kapu community into Backward Classes (BC) category. Dasari will meet on Monday and express his solidarity to Mudragada's fast which is being observed since two days along with his wife Padmavathi undertaken at his native village Kirlampudi in East Godavari district.

On the other hand, police had imposed strict restrictions in East Godavari district. They are not allowing any non locals to enter into the district and Mudragada's house as well. In this backdrop of heated situation, Dasari's visit to Mudragada's place on Monday has created a buzz even though many leaders and supporters trying to meet the Kapu patriarch are being turned away by police.
