Dasari Always Worked For Welfare Of Artistes: Chandrababu
Hyderabad: Heaping praises on eminent director and former Union Minister Dasari Narayana Rao, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday recalled his association with the legendary director.
Stating that the multi-faceted personality had carved a niche for himself in the movie industry, the Chief Minister said that Dasari always strove for the welfare of cine artistes in Tollywood, Naidu praised.
Dasari died of cardiac arrest in KIMS Hospital on Tuesday evening around 7 pm. Chandrababu Naidu along with several of his Ministers and TDP leaders paid rich tributes to Dasari Narayana Rao at the Telugu Film Chamber Of Commerce at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.
Speaking to media persons, Chandrababu said that he was first introduced to Dasari through senior actor Mohan Babu. "Since then I had a special place in his heart," he maintained.
Dasari's death left a deep void in the movie industry, he said.
