Dasara Holidays For Telangana Schools From September 30 To October 12

Hyderabad: Telangana Education Department has announced Dasara holidays for public, private and aided schools in the state from September 30 to October 12 for 13 days.

The Director of State Education Department G Kishan has issued the orders to all the district education officials, regional educational officials including the project officials of the department for the strict implement of the decision for the school year calendar for 2016-17.

The department also enforced the implement of announcement of Christmas holidays from December 24 to 18 this year and Sakranti holidays from January 11 to 15 in 2017. The announcement of summer vacation holidays from April 24 to June 11 should also be strictly concerned, the official ordered.

According to the latest calendar issued by the Education Department, the next school year will start right from March 21, 2017.

The Education department also directed all the officials to concentrate on conducting the Summative Assessment-1 examinations scheduled from October 27 to November 3 in public, private and residential schools in the state. All the officials including DEOs were also told to be active in completing the syllabus for the examinations and for the encouragement of slow students by conducting special classes for them.
