Cycle Racers Crash Into One Another Making a ‘Mountain Pile’

New York: The enthusiastic onlookers at a cycling competition got stumped after a witnessing freak accident in which woman cyclists crashed into one another creating a pile of mountain. The crash happened on Saturday at the Red Hook Crit cycle race in Brooklyn.

The 50-second footage shows a cyclist in white t-shirt falling to ground which then led to a huge pile-up other cyclist in few seconds.

It is learnt that though 15 cyclist had an impact of the crash but only one rider opted out of the race after the first lap. The race is supposed to take place on a winding, closed-circuit course in which 60 rider participate.

Incidentally, this is not the fist crash that happened. Last year too a stalled motorbike caused a similar accident.
