CRPF Dog Suffers Snakebite

A sniffer dog in the service of the CRPF in the Naxal-infested Chhattisgarh district of Sukma was bitten by a snake during combing operations on Satuday. The sniffer dog has been shifted to the hospital.

On Saturday, the police conducted combing operations in Sukma district and recovered 2 kg of explosives from a Naxal hideout. During the operations, a sniffer dog suffered snake bite. It was rushed to the hospital.

This is the first of its kind incident in Chhattisgarh.
