Man Killed For Rs 2 

EAST GODAVARI: A man was killed over an argument for Rs 2 in Valasapakala village of East Godavari district on late Saturday, November 9.

According to o police, Suvarnaraju (24), a construction worker had gone to a cycle shop for inflating his cycle tyres. As he didn't have Rs 2 to pay to the shop owner Samba, an argument broke out between the two.

The worker allegedly manhandled Samba for abusing him. Samba’s friend Appa Rao, who was nearby, got angry over this, picked up an iron rod and hit Suvarnaraju on his head.

Suvarnaraju has taken to Kakinada government general hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

Police registered a murder case against Samba and Appa Raju.
