2 Killed As Lorry Collides With Car In Srikakulam

SRIKAKULAM: Two people died in a road accident after a lorry collided with the car they were travelling in Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh.

The deceased were identified as Yogeshwara Rao (50) and Jogeshwar Rao (30) who hailed from Kothuru in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

Police said that an over-speeding lorry collided with the car in which both of them were travelling at Dimmidijola of Bhamini Mandal of Srikakulam district. The lorry driver fled from the spot.

Police have registered a case against the lorry driver and shifted both the dead bodies to the nearby hospital for an autopsy.

Police are on the lookout for the absconding driver.
