Hyderabad Father Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Daughter

Hyderabad: A father of a 13-year-old girl had sexually assaulted his daughter in Shabad mandal of Rangareddy district on Sunday, (October 13). The victim's mother filed a police complaint against her husband, and the police arrested him.

According to the reports, the accused had been working as a daily wage labourer in a factory. He had assaulted her daughter when no one else was at home. He even threatened her not to disclose anything to her mother. However, the girl told her mother about this, and the mother, enraged by the husband's acts, lodged a police complaint in the nearby police station. Police filed a case against him under section 376 of IPC and POCSO act

The accused feared the consequences and absconded from the home, and police who searched for him and finally arrested the accused on September 19, in Velikkate village of Thorrur mandal of Warangal.
