Suspecting Affair Man Kills Wife, Disposes Pieces of Her Body In Septic tank

New Delhi: Suspicion over his wife having an affair led a man to kill his wife. He cut her body into several pieces and disposed them in a septic tank near his house here on Saturday, September 21.

Police identified the suspect as 33-year-old Ashu and his murdered wife as 30-year-old Seema. The victim was a home-maker and the suspect repaired computers.

According to reports, the incident took place in Delhi's Prem Nagar area, said the police.

The man later surrendered at the Prem Nagar Police Station on Saturday night and said he killed his wife as he suspected she was having an affair, the police said to the daily.

Police said that the man later told them he had dumped a few body parts in a drain near the house.

“The couple would quarrel frequently. On Saturday night, he took her back to their house where they quarreled. Ashu then used a knife to slit her neck before severing her body into multiple pieces,” SD Mishra, deputy commissioner of police said to the daily.

"A case has been registered and we are further investigating the matter," she added.
