Class 3 Boy Found Murdered In Andhra BC Hostel

Vijayawada: An eight-year-old student was found murdered in a government-run BC Welfare hostel in Challapalli in Krishna district on Tuesday.

The victim, Dasari Aditya a Class 3 student, who belonged to Narayana Nagar at Charlapalli in Krishna district, was staying in the hostel along with his brother which was meant for the Backward Classes.

Aditya who usually slept next to his brother hadn't come to the room on Monday night. When Aditya's brother woke up and went in search of him, he was found in a pool of blood near the bathroom.

The students immediately alerted the hostel authorities, who then informed the police. A police officer said the boy appeared to have a knife injury on the neck. Police shifted the body to a hospital for autopsy and his parents were informed about the incident. A case was registered and an investigation was underway. The police are questioning the hostel warden and the hostel inmates for more details.
