3 Gang-rape Minor Girl In East Godavari

Hyderabad: A minor girl was gang-raped by three men at Durgada village in Gollaprolu mandal of East Godavari district. The incident happened on July 23.

According to Gollaprolu police, one of the youth promised to marry her and used to sexually assault her.

He took the minor girl to an isolated place on July 23 where two of his other friends were present. They gang-raped the girl. After the heinous act, the men threatened her of consequences had she have reported the matter to anyone.

The girl told her parents who then took her to the village elders, who allegedly turned them away.

The parents then approached Gollaprolu police station.
