Fake Certificate Racket Busted In Nellore, Six Arrested

Nellore: A gang of six persons were nabbed on Wednesday for running fake certificate racket here. Vakadu police recovered fake SSC marks memos, transfer certificates, computers, scanners, seals of school headmasters, rubber stamps as well as Aadhaar cards.

The accused have been identified as B Suresh (36), B Nagamani (39), B Venkatesh (28), B Nagaraju (35), K Suneel Reddy and Ramesh. Two others are absconding and a manhunt has been launched.

Gudur DSP B Bhavani Harsha told media persons that Vakadu circle police conducted surprise checks at a Xerox centre in Kothagunta centre of Chittamur mandal, acting on tip-off.

The DSP said that the accused had saved the data of various state boards and police seized board mark sheets and university mark sheets.

Vakadu Circle inspector K Narasimha Rao, Chittamur Sub-Inspector Kishore Babu, Vakadu SI Bhojya and others were present.
