Sex Racket In Hyderabad, Tanzanian Woman Nabbed

Hyderabad: A woman from Tanzania was arrested on Friday from Neredmet area in Hyderabad for allegedly running a sex racket.

The accused has been identified as 30-year-old Ramadhani Usanga Sabia Bayoni, a native of Daressalam in Tanzania.

Acting on tip-off, Malkajgiri Special Operations Team raided the apartment on July 19 and arrested the woman and rescued two Tanzanian women there.

On being questioned, she revealed that she and her male friend Edward used to upload obscene photographs of Tanzanian women staying here for various purposes, on some websites. The photographs were forwarded to interested customers and Rs 10,000 collected from each of them, police said.

They then used to lure the women they knew into the flesh trade by offering huge amounts of money, they said.

A case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, Immigration Act and Foreigners Act was registered against the duo.

Meanwhile, the woman's male accomplice is absconding and hunt is on to nab him.
