Vizag Man Hacked To Death In Broad Daylight Over Illicit Affair

Hyderabad: A man was hacked to death in broad daylight in front of a liquor shop in Chodavaram Town in Vishakhapatnam district on Sunday. This is the second such attack in the town in a span of one month.

The man has been identified as Kona Rajesh (22).

Shockingly, while the incident took place, no one came forward to help rather took pictures of the murder and later uploaded it on social media.

According to reports, the accused wearing a helmet on his bike came at the liquor shop where Rajesh was standing. He stabbed Rajesh with a sharp weapon and fled from the spot. He, again, after sometime came to see if Rajesh was dead and went on to stab him multiple times.

Police said that the accused was identified as P Sattibabu (28) on the basis of CCTV footages. Preliminary investigation found that Rajesh had allegedly been involved in a romantic relationship with his wife and hence planned to kill him.

ASP (Narsipatnam) Aarif Hafeez said that a case has been registered.
