Tiff With Husband Drives Woman To Jump of Building With 2-Year Old Daughter

Hyderabad: A woman allegedly committed suicide on Sunday by jumping off a building along with her two-year old daughter after a fight with her husband over a petty issue in Balaji Nagar at Hyderabad.

While the woman Padmaja died on the spot, the child sustained severe injuries and is said to be in a critical condition. She is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.

Kukatpally police SI Lakshimarayana said that she had asked her husband to take her out for a function and he refused. Upset over his refusal she is said to have taken this drastic step. The couple had no other issues and were a happy together who had even gone to Sri Lanka for a holiday recently. The woman's body has been sent to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy and a case has been registered.
