Sisters Gangraped in Sitamarhi Bihar
Patna: Two sisters were gang-raped by seven men in Bihar's Sitarmarhi district. The incident happened in Sobarsa under the Kanhauli police station jurisdiction limits.
Police have arrested eight persons for the heinous crime.
One of the rape survivor told police that on June 19, she was playing in the courtyard with her sister. Meanwhile, one of their neighbours had asked them to come stroll in the road.
They saw few men coming from the other direction. Sensing trouble, the woman had fled while the minor girls were left behind.
The minors were dragged and taken to an isolated place and gang-raped. They even pointed gun at them and threatened them against speaking about the incident to anyone.
The family filed a complaint and based on it eight people have been arrested. They are Kamlesh Kumar, Anil Kumar, Nagendra Kumar and one of its relative, Raju Kumar, Parshuram and Govinda Kumar .
Sitamarhi SP Anil Kumar said when medical reports confirmed rape, an FIR was registered and the arrests were made.
