Vijayawada: 70-Year-Old Woman Molested At Railway Station

Vijayawada: A 70-year-old woman was molested at a railway station on Tuesday night. As per the details, some unidentified miscreants attempted to rape the elderly woman, who was found lying in a pool of blood on a railway track in Vijayawada.

Sanitary workers, who noticed the woman, rushed her to the hospital in an ambulance. The doctors stated that her condition is critical. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and examined the crime scene. The police suspect that the blade gang and the marijuana gang in the city may have been involved.

Police are investigating whether an elderly woman was raped or whether she was being attacked for money. The police seized a bag of clothes and dried fish lying on the rails. The victim is learned to be hailing from Mahabubnagar district.
