Constable Slits Step-Mother’s Throat For Property     

Hyderabad: A police constable residing at Madannape, slit the throat of his step-mother after an altercation aroused over property.

K Srikanth, the constable, went to his step-mother's Sukanya's house in Boya Basthi, Madannapet around 7.15 am. He slit her throat using a weapon he carried along with him. This attack was done while her relatives and tenants were watching aghast. Srikanth fled the area after attacking Sukanya.

The police were informed and they rushed to the spot. They immediately shifted her body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem. A police team is being assigned to nab the constable.
