AP Student Commits Suicide At Hostel In Punjab

Phagwara (Punjab:) A student pursuing MBA at Lovely Professional University (LPU), committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling at his hostel room here on Friday. allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his hostel room, on Saturday.

Satnampura SHO Inspector Onkar Singh Brar said that they had identified the deceased as Jaimbali Munish (22), who belonged to Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.

The police have registered a case and the body taken to the local civil hospital mortuary for post.The family of the deceased has been informed about the incident.

The police said the second-year student tied a chord around his neck and hung himself from the ceiling fan of the hostel room on Friday night. It is said that he was under stress and had taken this step when his other inmates had gone to attend classes.
