PUBG Claims Nizamabad Boy’s Life

Nizamabad: The controversial online game Player Unknown's Battleground (PUBG), has yet again become the cause of the death of a young boy who had become an addict of the online game.

Shreyas, a Grade 9 student, who was studying in Nizamabad district, had become addicted to the PUBG game since the past few weeks. On Tuesday, his mother reprimanded him for playing the game for so long. Upset that his mother scolded him for playing the game he went and locked himself inside the room. Realizing that he had not opened the door for a long time his mother and the neighbours knocked the doors asking him to open the door.

When the boy did not respond, they broke open the doors and found him hanging from the ceiling. They immediately rushed him to a local private hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.

This is the fourth such incident reported in the state of Telangana . Recently a 16-year-old boy from Malkajgiri area in Hyderabad committed suicide after being chided by his mother for his addiction towards the online game.
