Man Attacks Neighbour With Axe in Jagtial Over Land Dispute
Jagtial (Telangana): A man was brutally attacked with an axe on Monday allegedly over land dispute by his neighbour in Jagtial district of Telangana.
The victim has been identified as Kishan who is a resident of Markandeya colony was attacked by one K Lakshman who is a native of Anantaram.
Jagtial Superintendent of Police Sindhu Sharma said that there was a land dispute between Laxman and Kishan after the latter purchased land five years ago. On Monday morning after a heated argument, Laxman hit him with the axe and fled from the spot.
Kishan was injured severely and was taken to the hospital.
A case has been registered against the accused under Section 307 (attempt to murder) under the Indian Penal Code.
