Marikal Wall Collapse Kills 11 Coolie Workers, Many Feared Trapped Under Debris

Eleven daily wage labourers working under the Employment Guarantee Scheme met a tragic death as large mounds of mud collapsed on them near Tileru Of Marikal mandal of Narayanpet district.
Five others who were injured in the incident were rushed to the nearby Narayanpet hospital.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has ordered the local official to press rescue operations on a war footing. He has also promised to extend all support to the families of the victims.
