Hyderabad Woman Set Ablaze By Unknown Assailants, Dies

Hyderabad: A woman was brutally attacked by unknown miscreants, who then poured petrol on her and set her on fire. The incident took place in RTC colony, Hayathnagar on Sunday.

Going into the details, the woman, identified as Prashanthi resided with her husband in RTC Colony. On Sunday, she was attacked by a gang of unknown assailants, who set her ablaze and fled from the scene.

Hearing her screams, locals nearby rushed in to help and shifted her to the hospital. However, the victim, who sustained severe burn injuries succumbed to death while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

A case has been registered in this regard and the police have begun the investigation.
