Massive fire breaks out in Bhuvanagiri - Sakshi Post

Bhuvanagiri Urban: A massive fire broke out in a chemical company on Monday. The incident took place in the industrial area of the Bhuvanagiri town. According to the locals, in the industrial area, the company of Maha Sai Fire Chemical Pvt Ltd manufactures the liquid used in painting, nail polish, and varnishing.

As per the daily routine, the liquidation process continued in the company on Sunday. However, on Sunday night at 2.15 am, a short circuit was caused by electrical fluctuations in the motor engine in order to pump Ethyne, Tollin, Methyl in the raw material used for the liquid.

The fire broke out and the flames spread across the floor flaring the nearby plastic drums following which the crew rushed out of the building.

Fire tenders, who received the information immediately reached the spot. Four fire engines attempted to douse the fire. The Bhuvanagiri Fire Station firefighters also reached the spot. With the flames spreading out, fire brigades were brought from Yadagirigutta, Choutuppal, and Ramannapeta. All the fire engines together extinguished the flames at 7.30 am after about 6 hours of efforts from the fire tenders.

The authorities revealed that there were no casualties in the incident but the property loss can be estimated between Rs 9 to Rs 10 crore.
