Telangana Man Sets Girlfriend On Fire, Ends Life
Bhadradri Kothagudem: A young man from the district set his girlfriend on fire and committed suicide thereafter. The incident took place in Chunchupalli Mandal on Sunday.
As per the details shared by the police, Vinod (25) and Tejaswini (18) had been living in together at a rented house in Ramanjaneya Colony of Chunchupalli Mandal. In this connection, there have been conflicts surfacing between the couple for the past few days.
Even on Sunday night, the couple got into a heated argument. In a fit of rage, Vinod poured kerosene on Tejaswini and set her on fire. Subsequently, he also committed suicide by jumping into the flames. Upon being alerted by the locals, the police reached the spot and registered a case. Further investigation is underway.
