Pillion Rider Thrown Off Paradise Flyover After Accident - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: A man riding pillion was thrown out from his seat off the paradise flyover near the Secunderabad Fire Station on Sunday Evening. He sustained severe injuries after the bike in which he was travelling on rammed into a 4 wheeler.

The police identified the survivor as 32-year-old Amar Singh Atanal, who was lucky enough not to get run over by a vehicle as the traffic on Sunday was relatively lean.

Amar Singh was on the pillion seat of the two-wheeler being ridden by Narendra Singh Bhandari, 22. They both had come from Uttarakhand to the city in search of jobs. Both of them worked as chefs at a restaurant, as per reports.

They were traveling from Secunderabad to Begumpet and took the flyover. This was when the accident took place.

Ramgopalpet police sub-inspector K. Pratha Reddy said, “They rammed a four-wheeler from the rear at about 4 pm.

The pillion rider was thrown off the two-wheeler and he fell down from the flyover on to the below in front of the Secunderabad fire station. Passerby immediately shifted him to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.” Narendra Singh escaped with minor injuries.

Amar Singh is stated to be in critical condition.
