Warangal Student Jumps Off Building After Being Caught For Copying In Exam - Sakshi Post

Warangal: After getting caught copying in an examination, an Intermediate first-year student jumped off a building in Warangal on Wednesday.

During the second language examination, four cases of copying were registered in Telangana, two of them in Vikarabad and another in Nagarkurnool.

The student, P Sunitha was caught cheating by the invigilator in the final exams at an examination center in Hanamkonda. The 16-year-old is learned to have carried chits with her for copying. Noticing this, the invigilator sent her outside the examination hall.

Unable to deal with the embarrassment, the student attempted suicide by jumping from the third floor of the building. She was immediately rushed to the MGM Hospital where the doctors said that the student had fractured her both legs.

Sunitha, a resident of Warangal, is studying in a local college. In the wake of the incident, the girl's parents along with students' organizations launched a protest outside the examination center demanding justice for her.

However, the police managed to defuse the situation by asking them to call off their protest keeping in perspective of the ongoing examination.

The Education Department officials pointed out that four students entered the exam halls with chits despite checks at the entrance gates, showing that the checks are not being properly conducted.
