Rajendranagar: Boy Drowns In Swimming Pool

Hyderabad: A 15-year-old boy from Rajendranagar drowned in a swimming pool on Friday evening.

The boy was identified as Khaja, who resided in the Dairy Farm area. As per the details, the boy was swimming along with four other kids inside A to Z swimming pool at Shivarampalli area.

Rajendranagar police informed that Khaja remained inside the swimming pool alone even after the other boys left to take shower.

The incident occurred around 7 pm and no trainer was available during the time as their shift completes at 5.30 pm.

The boy is learned to have moved to the deeper side of the pool. The depth of the water was seven feet where the boy drowned. While the boy was shifted to a hospital, he was declared brought dead by the doctors.

The police have registered a case of negligence against the swimming pool management and further investigation is underway.
