Youngster Commits Suicide As Girl Rejects His Love

Tiruvottiyur: A young man committed suicide by hanging himself after a girl rejected his proposal.

The incident took place on Friday night near Kovai, Singanallur in Tamil Nadu.

As per the details, Hariharasudan (19), son of Satyaseelan from Singanallur was pursuing B.Com second-year in a private college in Esanai.

He had been interested in a girl from another college for a long time. Recently, Hariharasudan professed his love to the girl, however, he faced rejection and even humiliation.

Unable to deal with the refusal, he tied a rope around his neck to the ceiling fan in his room and took a selfie, which he sent it to the girl via WhatsApp.

Subsequently, Hariharasudan hanged himself and died.
