School Bus Loses Control And Crashes; Two Critically Injured

Kasibugga, Srikakulam: A private school bus lost control in Palasa on Wednesday resulting in two persons suffering serious injuries.

According to the details given by the police, Dandasi Lachhaya, a rickshaw driver from Kausalyanagar in Purushottapuram within the municipality limits of Palasa-Kasibugga was heading to the bus stand.

The incident took place at Palasa Electric Substation when the Bhashyam School Bus lost control and hit rickshaw. Lachhaya sustained grave injuries in the mishap.

At the same time, another passerby, Baratam Srinivasa Rao also was hit by the bus and was critically injured. The locals nearby, rushed the two injured to the government hospital. A case has been registered by the Kasibugga police in this regard and further investigation is underway. The Principal of Bhashyam School also visited the hospital and inquired regarding the injured.
