Couple Killed After Two-Wheeler Hit By Lorry In Srikakulam

Srikakulam: Two people were killed in a road accident which took place at Barampuram on Friday afternoon.

The mishap occurred when a lorry rammed into a two-wheeler on the National Highway in Kanchili Mandal. The deceased were identified as Sompet townhall Saptagiri Steals owner Vysyaraju Venkataramana and his wife Srilatha.

The couple were on their way to Barampuram to visit their relatives when an over-speeding lorry hit the two-wheeler and ran over their bodies at Makarampuram Junction.

The lorry then lost control and overturned on the road. The police who reached the spot sent the bodies to post-mortem and registered a case against the lorry driver.
