Spurious Alcohol Kills 2 Brothers In Thoothukudi

Chennai: Two brothers died by consuming alcohol laced with poison. The incident took place on Sunday at Tuthikudi, Tamil Nadu. The deceased were identified as Raja and Vijay who were brothers. Raja was married about five months ago and Vijay was  a private employee who  worked in a local company at Chennai.

Vijay was in love with girl in Chennai and but later due to unknown reasons he started avoiding him.Depressed over his love failure he decided to commit suicide .

On Sunday, he mixed poison into the alcohol bottle and consumed it and later fell unconscious. At that time his brother Raja came home and seeing the alcohol bottle consumed the rest of the alcohol , unaware  that it was mixed with poison. Soon after that he started frothing at the mouth he realized something was wrong.  The neighbours shifted both of  them to hospital but the doctors declared them dead on arrival.

It was an unfortunate case of where both the brothers died one wilfully and the other was killed due to a  mistake of not knowing that the alcohol was laced with poison.

Recently, in a similar incident, in a case of harassment by the company management, a thirty year old employee of CMS Info Systems located in Secunderabad, committed suicide by hanging himself at his home. He also left a letter stating as to why he was committing suicide.

Nuthalaganti Narsing was an employee of the above mentioned company and in his suicide note mentioned that he was made a scapegoat by a certain 'Colonel' who had joined the office recently. Unable to bear the insults and the harassment meted out by the management, he went into depression for and committed suicide. His family members took his body and protested in front of the office which was located near Lower Tank Bund in Hyderabad.
