Unidentified Body Of Man Found In Vaidehinagar Near Vanasthalipuram

Hyderabad: Unidentified men killed a man in the early hours of Thursday at Vaidehinagar in Vanasthalipuram. According to police, the victim was picked up in a car by the men who killed him and disposed off his body. He was identified as Prasad Rao (60), resident of Almasguda.

Prasad came to his relative's shop on Wednesday evening. While on his way, some unknown people picked up him in a car, the police said.

His body was found with head injuries by the locals who informed the police who rushed to the spot. They collected details and sent the body to hospital for post-mortem.

According to a complaint, the police filed a case under Sections 302 (murder) and launched an investigation.

Recently, in a similar incident, a man was hacked to death by unidentified men in the early hours of Thursday at BN Reddy Meerpet. The police suspect that the victim was killed due to his illicit affair with a woman.

The deceased Srinivas Goud hailed from Nagarkurnool and had moved to Hyderabad two months back. The reason behind his shifting was an extra-marital-relationship because of which he was threatened in Nagarkurnool, it is learned.

On Wednesday night, while the victim was on his way back home, a Tata Indica car knocked him down from behind. People in the car then chased and stabbed him to death, the police official said.

The clues team had collected the details and a case was filed by police who started probing the matter.
